About Cristina
I am an experimental particle physicist, born and raised in Quito, Ecuador. I received my Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at Fermilab working with data from the Large Hadron Collider. For the past three years, I have also been exploring the usage of low cost but high intensity accelerator beam-lines to expand the search for new physics. Specifically I am interested on using these experiments to search for dark matter particles with masses below the proton mass.
In my free time, I enjoy doing yoga and walking with my dog. I like lighthouses very much.
