About Ekta
I am a Miller Fellow in Astronomy at the University of California, Berkeley. My work focuses on the dynamics of satellite galaxies in the nearby Universe. I identify as a South Asian woman and am passionate about supporting the careers of students who identify with groups that have been historically excluded from STEM. I enjoy science communication, spending time outdoors, and cooking.
