About Giulia
I am a Royal-Society Research Fellow in quantum photonics and quantum foundations at the University of Bristol.
I received my MSc. degree with distinction from the University of Rome – “La Sapienza” – in 2015 under the supervision of Professor Fabio Sciarrino with a thesis on the orbital angular momentum of light. I was then awarded a uni:docs Fellowship by the University of Vienna to work with Professor Philip Walther on experimental indefinite quantum causality. After completing my PhD with distinction in 2021, I am now working at the University of Bristol, where I have been awarded a Newton International Fellowship to work in collaboration with Dr. Jonathan Matthews and Dr. Paul Skrzypczyk. My interests range from indefinite causality to quantum thermodynamics, where I have contributed both with experimental and theoretical works.
