About Ioana
I received my PhD from Harvard University with a thesis on interstellar dust and cosmology. I spent a year as an astrophysics postdoctoral researcher at the University of California – Los Angeles, studying constraints on dark matter using gravitational strong lensing. My recent projects include creating the first 3D temperature map of the temperature of dust in the ISM, as well as putting constraints on sterile neutrino models using strong lensing. Starting this fall I will be a CITA Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto. Outside of research and outreach, I am a fan of tennis, hiking and winter sports.
