About Kristi
My research has two focus areas: education research in medical physics clinical (residency) training and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) topics such as gender equity research in medical physics. I am the Program Director of the Medical Physics Residency Program at the University of Washington and the Faculty Lead for DEI in the Dept. of Radiation Oncology. I volunteer with the national professional organization in my field–the American Association for Physicists in Medicine (AAPM)– in both of these areas: residency education and DEI.
