About Meredith
Meredith Danowski is a business development and capture manager at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, where she is responsible for project and proposal management, instrument development, and mission formulation, primarily in support of NASA science missions. She has led or supported a wide range of proposal teams covering earth, planetary, heliophysics, and astrophysics science concepts. Prior to LASP, her experience includes serving as a Systems Engineer for space-based optical and IR payloads; a research scientist and program manager for wind LIDAR; and a Project Scientist, Engineer, and Mission Manager for over 10 NASA science sounding rocket missions. Meredith received her PhD in astronomy from Boston University using UV instrumentation to observe extragalactic dust extinction.
Meredith is also passionate about STEM education and access, with experience in informal science education, advocacy for STEM diversity and equity, and mentorship.
