About Prajkta
I am a cosmochemist, isotope geochemist, and a planetary scientist. My research focuses on the study of chemical, microstructural, and isotopic characteristics of meteorites and astromaterials. One of my highest aspirations is to work on pioneering methods, which significantly advance our knowledge about the building blocks of the Solar System. I have a strong interest in developing coordinated laboratory techniques to study cosmochemistry and isotope geochemistry of meteorites and samples returned from various planetary missions. I am deeply committed to promoting diversity, equity and incluision in the scientific community and I actively participate in public engagement activities representing Lunar and Planetary Institute, USRA in accordance with the principles of diversity,
