About Sarah
My name is Sarah Miller, I am 22 years old and have just graduated from Skidmore College after double-majoring in Physics and Math. While at Skidmore, I studied Active Galactic Nuclei with my professor, and conducted research with her in which we used computer programs to model the AGN using their x-ray spectral data. I have been conducting this research with my professor since 2018, and will be continuing to do so in the following year. Since graduating in May 2021, I have acquired an instructing job with Vanguard College Prep School in which I instruct students on general math topics (Algebra 1 – AP Calculus AB) and general science topics (basic physics, biology, chemistry, etc.) I have always had a passion for teaching others, which began when I started tutoring physics at Skidmore College, and continued as I acted as a teaching assistant at Skidmore. My goals for this upcoming year, along with teaching at Vanguard, are to apply for Physics Graduate School Programs.
