About Tays
I am a Brazilian theoretical physicist working on the physics of early universe. My main goal is to understand the origin of primordial perturbations which seeded the large scale structure of our universe. I have been exploring inflationary models such as the Starobinsky model and α-attractors, but also thinking about primordial perturbations which could be produced before the Big Bang described by collapsing models. Currently I am particularly interested on the relation between the coherence function in Quantum Field Theory and the validity of the stochastic formalism. I obtained my PhD from the University of Espírito Santo, Brazil, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Oliver Piattella, during which I spent one year as a visiting researcher at the Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation, University of Portsmouth, UK, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. David Wands. At the moment I am a postdoc at University of Jyväskylä working with Prof. Dr. Sami Nurmi.
